Nov 21, 2019 - 24 Hours of Reality. Today, former Vice President Al Gore and thousands of Climate Reality Leaders worldwide are delivering over 1,600 presentations in communities around the world for 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action, a grassroots day of action and education to catalyze a global conversation about the climate crisis and its solutions.

To bring awareness to our current climate crisis and the problems we are facing in an era of change, we have highlighted the 24 most important environmental stories of 2019 in our news broadcast: 24 Hours of Reality – Reality Bites.

Reality Bites covers important events that have defined our changing climate, stressing the need for speedy solutions. In order to further the conversation on climate change and become a part of the solution in solving our climate crisis, we urge you to take action. Join the conversation on social media as we discuss these 24 topics and learn more about how you can make an impact.

Let’s start off by planting a tree in honor of your participation in this unique global day of action. By joining the discussion, The Climate Reality Project in partnership with One Tree Planted, will plant a tree on behalf of all 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action presentation attendees. Watch Reality Bites, fill out the form specifying where you want your tree planted and you qualify! Simple as that!

One Tree Planted is a nonprofit environmental organization working on reforestation projects in North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Trees planted through these projects rebuild wildlife habitat, restore land, create jobs, sequester carbon, and more.
